Misfits - Walk Among Us
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist
The Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard in My Backward
The Offspring - Smash
Pennywise - Full Circle
Clash - London Calling
Rancid - Out Come the Wolves
Sublime - Sublime
Operation Ivy - Energy
No order, and some different ones from the ones already in this thread. Misfits was hard to pick because they didn't really do the whole album thing, and I didn't want to pick the boxset that Jerry Only fought with Danzig to get released. Sublime is definitely the biggest stretch as punk on there, but they're just an example of how varied punk can be, at least for me.
I've heard those and definitely agree, need to check out the rest though.
For newer age stuff:
Menzingers - On the Impossible Past
Menzingers - Rented World
Gaslight Anthem - Sink or Swim
Bouncing Souls - How I Spent My Summer Vacation
Against Me! - New Wave
Japandroids - Celebration Rock
Blink 182 - Dude Ranch
Alkaline Trio - Goddamnit!
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies
Tried to keep out pop-punk stuff. Menzingers are probably my favourite band, their lyrics really shine and I think they nailed the production of their sound. Sink or Swim is a great punk album front to back. Celebration Rock is just a fun album. Dude Ranch has some really endearing and genuine lyrics and hooks that are more rough around the edges.
