Richards
Brassard
McDonagh
Zucarello
Henry

In no particular order.

1. Lundquist.
2. MSL
3. Staal
4. Zuccarello
5. Stralman

Kreider gets the number 2 spot if you're talking about average performance, but he has only played 7 out of the 17 games.

1) Hank
2) Staal
3) MSL
4) Brassard
5) Boyle

This looks good if we're talking all 3 rounds. McDonagh was meh in round 1 and Kreider has only played 7 games. Though Staal hasn't been so hot in the 3rd round thus far. Boyle has been great in every series. Resign him and Moore right now before they price themselves out of here!

If you account for all 17 games, I don't think you can include McDonagh in the top 5. He was not good until game 5 or 6 of the Pittsburgh series.

Also, as much as I love Boyle and our fourth line, they are the fourth line. If we're talking relative to what you would expect of a fourth line, then they are up there.

Lundqvist
Staal
St. Louis
Brassard
Zuccarello

Hagelin and Boyle have been busting it too. Richards has made some big plays. Nash has played well for the most part. I think those 5 have been our best players all playoffs.

Hank
Zucc
Brass
Staal
Dom Moore

HM to Kreider and McD, as if they played all 17 games (McD more or less missed the first 10 games to injury)
edit- this isnt in order, just giving 5

wow surprised most of you rank brassard ahead of zucc

zucc has been amazing almost every shift, either hitting or creating chances

Think Dom Moore has to be in the top five, he's been asked to move up and fill a big role and they haven't given up much in doing so.

Lundqvist
McDonagh
St. Louis
Brassard

Richards has had some clutch goals but he's also been MIA some games.

Honorable mention to Boyle, staal and Zucc. Tough to pick five.

Yeah I was having a tough time choosing between Boyle and Dom Moore. The whole team deserves recognition. It's been great watching these guys.

Agreed. He's is the point leader, kinda silly not to have him among the top 5. Some people are Zucc haters, simple as that.

Others I'll mention based on production is MSL, Richards, Stepan and McD.

This is really, really tough. The whole team (barring a few, but they've been picking up too) has been excellent.

The King
St. Louis
Brassard
D. Moore
Zucc

With HMs to Staal, Stralman, McDonagh, Boyle, and Richards.

I just want to point out that you can make an argument for almost every player on the team being on this list. Dom Moore. Pouliot. Boyle. Guys who throughout most of the season were thought of sort of as role players are stepping up and making great contributions in their own way.

To me, Lundqvist and Staal are the shoe-ins. Lets not underestimate how well Staal has stepped up defensively with McDonagh struggling until lately. He's been our most consistent defender. I get the sense we see him score a big goal in this series. He deserves it.

Lundqvist
Staal
Zuccarello
D. Moore
McDonagh

1. Henrik - no comments needed. Backbone of this team and his play is evidence of that...
2. Richards - for all of you who wanted to buyout Richards.. You were wrong. Completely. Richards has showed up big time. If you were one of those people - time to face the facts and admit you don't known what your talking about.
3. Marc Staal - I can't remember the last time in this playoffs a goal against (or even an extra chance) while he was on the ice took place against the Rangers. And he's doing it with WHO as his partner? He doesn't have McD and Girardi this time around. Actions speak louder than words and his actions are screaming.
4. MSL: Chances, chances, chances... When he's on the ice, Rangers are getting chances. It's a shame he can't finish but they will come.
5. Zucc: Maybe we're giving Zucc too much credit for his lines success but you can't deny the creativity he's brought to arguably our most effective line. McD and Kreider both have been solid as of late but someone on Zuccs line deserves to be on this list and it's clear he's the one leading the charge. One thing is for sure, he's an exciting creative player with someone to prove.

HM: McD, Kreider, Pou

Not trying to be an ass, but the bolded statement makes it look like you're not actually watching the games or missed the last goal we lost on. While Staal has been overall fantastic, and I picked him as one of my own top 5, Staal was the guy who blew the coverage on Galchenyuk on the OT goal last game. And Stralman's been good in my opinion. Also, I don't believe anyone is questioning keeping Richards or not on his play, it's actually that his contract can become a severe salary cap nightmare. If the contract was shorter/structured differently, you might be seeing an entirely different set of opinions.
