Detroit was not down 0-3 in that game…they were down 0-2.

I think games 1 and 8 of the Summit Series would both be included.

Richard Riot, March 17 1955. Campbell shows up at the game and incites a riot that would last for days and have implications for Canada as a whole.

Kraut Line heads to War, February 10 1942. The line scores 11 point in a win over Montreal, and the Canadiens carry them off the ice on their shoulders.

I am a bit surprised with list that do not has Miracle on Ice, Lake placid 1980, movies were made about it, the expression traversed outside the hockey world... feel like a big one.

In the maybe not top 10, but say could be top 100:

- Messier hat trick game 6 after the guarantee.
- Roy last Montreal game

Would not March 3rd, 1875, at Victoria Skating Rink in Montreal (near McGill University), fit the term "mythical" more correctly? This was the first "organized" hockey game, and almost certainly the first-ever indoor game.

Czechoslovakia beating the Soviet Union 4-3 in the World Championships of 1969, following the Soviet occupation after the Prague Spring in 1968. 500,000 people went out and chanted “Czechoslovakia 4, the occupation power 3” afterwards.
