Nylander:

JT:
CF: 53%
SF: 50%

They've also had to deal with a rotating bunch of wingers on their line, sometimes dragging them down like Vesey.

can’t disagree with your “ numbers “ amigo
Just my personal opinion on watching them ,
I am a big fan of JT , always have been right from junior and am a fan of Willie ... I’d like to see a bit more from them that’s all
But good points indeed

Of guys that played 5 or more games.

Matthews-A+

Not a lot to bitch about with a 10-2-1 record.
I’ll take those team numbers any day

Mostly looking at the eye test and results here, so pls correct me since I haven't looked up everybody's adv stats.

NA players just either like the category suggest aren't applicable or just have not been good but its only been mostly 1 game.

F tier is just has not been good enough while playing in a decent amount of games. C tier, the players just haven't been good enough and have not the best underlying stats. B- players are a mixed bag not bad but not great but closer to good. Brodie I'm not sure about. B tier players either have good stats or good underlying numbers. B+ is more of less the same as B but better in either regard. All of A tier is just nitpicking. All the players have good stats and good underlying numbers to varying degrees.

These are the ratings I agree with the most. Although Andersen is a game or two away from a solid "B" and Nylander and Tavares are a game or two away from falling out of the "A" range.

Thornton, Campbell, and Lehtonen ungraded.

Relative to expectations of course. Holl gets a great grade for thriving on the 2nd pairing while Muzzin gets a mediocre grade for doing well but struggling on the same pair.

These grades look pretty good to me. I'd be tempted to give Lehtonen a B+ as I think he's looked great but with just over 60 minutes of ice time, ungraded seems reasonable as well. Id' also be tempted to bump Tavares and Nylander to B+ but whatever, grading isn't easy, it's impossible to get it perfect so ... nice job IMO.

Thanks! I copied most of the grades from @LeafalCrusader

A+ Matthews
A Marner
A- Hyman, Holl, Spezza, Dubas
B+ Simmonds, Muzzin, Boyd
B JT, Nylander, Rielly, Brodie, Bogo, Lehtonen, Andersen
C+ Engvall

Also Ran, Vessey, Kerfoot, Dermott

Everyone else, not enough games or out with injury. Excellent start, fairly easy division. Looking forward to Wednesday and Saturday. When the playoffs roll around. No excuses. Tired of hearing how great the big 4 and Dubas are. It's time to put up or break up. I'm rooting for put up.

So after watching Robertson's play in 1 period (2 minutes of ice time). You have concluded that he "just has not been good enough".

Than, Sandin's 1 game played, (~10 mins of ice time), where he got a point on the GWG. "He just has not been good enough".

I didn't catch sandin play and didn't want to rate him and Robertson didn't have good underlying numbers. But like u said its only been 1 game. Thats why rating 13 games iirc or less are weird. Stats flucate so much game to game I could just have not listed either or anyone under 5 games, I was trying be overly inclusive.

I did include NA tier under F with an explanation you might have missed it actually. NA>F tier, js.

He played 1 shift and got injured, and, that's your conclusion? Maybe get your head checked.

Watch the way you talk to people, that's not acceptable. I thought he had played a full game of 12:20 and not 2:20, relax.

And if you could read he was still in the Na tier aka not applicable, the whole time.

Watch your comments there, next time bud.

We are often far too quick to judge young players, new players, and players new to the NHL. It takes some time to adjust, and get used to this level of play and teammates... I was just reading the thread about Alex Lafrienierre, and all of the talk of how he is disappointing, not worthy of #1 pick... and so on, because he has one point in his first 11 NHL games. Patience people.
