Good luck. What a superficial atmosphere that would be. It would only make the already high pressure in Toronto even higher. No wonder Toronto has to pay players what they pay.
I'm probably exaggerating when I say that. Like players can party and don't need to be holier than thou type dudes. More so he's staying far away from sexual assaulters, potential rapists, players with high degree of anger (had Ryan Merkley as do not draft) and overall guys who kill teams synergy.

Matthews, marner, etc for sure are doing their thing in the offseason. They are having their fun. They are just expected to be professional to a certain degree during the season

Good luck with what? You can confirm it is legit?
Good luck with building a team that way. Going for character? Of course, but completely PC and clean cut? That would make for a terrible atmosphere IMO. Imagine walking on eggshells having to worry about being 100% PC when the team is just trying to win a Stanley Cup.

Ah okay, that makes more sense.

All players are doing their thing in the offseason. They are having their fun. They are also preparing for the new season.

Hopefully FS has some bad Intel because I'd have no interest in that.

I also don't exactly see where he fits. The D may need a 7th/Bogosion-lite PK guy, but aside from that it's set.

Rielly Brodie
Muzzin Holl
Sandin Dermott/7th D

Where is DeAngelo fitting?

I feel like he needs to go to an older team with a strong room.

I feel like Boston could be interesting, tons of veterans who I'm assuming have a good hold on the room and I feel like they could use a legit pp qb.
Boston would be a great place for him to go. Idk, what are the strongest locker rooms in the league do you guys think? Vegas?

Not all players some cross the line of and pay the price

The Jake Virtanen's (if charges proven true), the Brendon leipsics, Slava Voynovs etc, . Those guys are the ones I meant the leafs are staying away from as despite their talent they are too troubled for the organization to bring in as their actions would reflect poorly on the leafs main core values

Dengelo is a notable hot head and has had some problems on juniors as well (think he said either a racial or homophobic slur).

I'd say he's closer to the category of players the leafs organization would be avoiding despite his offensive talent than a guy we think who just likes to have his fun off the ice but can be a stable presence in the locker room.

When asked to give his best guess on who signs ( fill in name of any NHL Free Agent ) Frank Seravalli says " the Toronto Maple Leafs ".

I can’t see the Habs after the draft.
They are already getting roasted.
They can take it. The kid actually renounced himself from the draft. He clearly wants to be a better person and if the Habs want to help with that, they'll take the backlash (because a huge sports organization can do that better than an individual, especially a teenager, can) and both parties will reap the rewards in the future.

Ah yes, the player the Habs drafted who won't play on the team for atleast 3-4 years certainly has negatively affected the bond of the players in the Habs room in a major way.

The Habs players aren't taking heat nor should they, it's falling entirely on Management specifically: MB, Timmins, and Molson.

Edit: think I misunderstood your post, my b.

Absolutely, it is not on the Habs players.
