Prospect Info: Tom Willander: 11th Overall 2023 Draft (Rogle BK J20) - Part 02

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

this game is proof of how deceptive +/- is

Willander and Celebrini's pairings have made great plays, and the breakout starts because of them

another goal becuase of Willander controlling play

yet the hutson McCarthy pairing gets the plus becuase they are changing and they jump on the ice

every dangerous scoring chance against happens with Hutson and McCarthy on the ice.

Michigan State Lost

#1 overall seed is gone but the hands of the 17th ranked cornell

OUCH

It also means that BU is likely to make the Frozen Four from April 10-12.

The Canucks have just two games after that, so it's looking quite possible that we don't see Willander in a Canucks' uniform this season. Maybe they'll convince him sign and play in the AHL playoffs?

Why is there such a long break between the QFs and SFs?
Hype. You play the regionals in 4 different locations for the round of 16 and Quarters over 3 days and Then it moves to the final 4 host which is STL this year.
Ideally it’s only a week break but this is how it is.

2 games left and burning a year would be insane from management

i know he is 10.2 status if he plays a game.
but with OEL's buyout for 4.7 for the next 2 years and 2 after that.

give him an AHL contract
