Hiring Lindy Ruff wasnt a mistake......he was probably the only one willing to take the dead end job to begin with. The mistake was thinking the SOFTEST players in the league could play Ruffs system. OR they knew that from the beginning, which is why they didnt let LR hire his own staff, and he was just a member-berry hire who is gonna end up as the next zero experience GM. My understanding is that every player in the world can block a trade and there is simply nothing that Adams could have done to add to the top six.

He is still the same 1 dimensional player as he was here. He has to be properly utilized. Vegas is doing that. Sabres would not.
