Honestly, I'd take that over bottoming out again, even if that's probably better for the organization. I just want something mildly enjoyable to watch for a few f***ing months.

Worse than the "Worst Team Money Could Buy" Mets.

Worse than the nadir of the Bungles Years under Mike Clown.

Worse than the 99 MetroStars dubbed "The worst club in the world" by Bild.

Worse than the Isaiah Thomas Knicks.

The Nolan tank teams would tear these sad children to pieces. They were a billion times more likeable because they actually tried so hard and honestly overachiever given their lack of talent.

Pretty pessimistic and unfair by me, but a part of me hopes the Sabres lose one more game today to increase the chances of Fans chanting "Fire Adams" or "Sell the Team" at home on Friday. I'm beyond believing that this team and core can turn it around by themselves without change at the top of the Organization.

The lack of boisterous disapproval from the home crowd has been surprising and disappointing. It's been a mere smattering of boos from a relatively small number of fans in the final 10 seconds of play.

Going from one season of "not ready to play; comeback falls short" to "can often get a lead, but seldom hold one" in the next, with much the same roster, is truly baffling.
