Yes that's the new argument nowadays..practicing and learning with the boys. We have rarely seen that kind of stuff in hockey in the past decades but I guess this is the new sensation. Grigorenko has probably learnt a lot as well, so much that the Sabres wasted one year of his entry level contract. I call it; not fully NHL ready. They would have loved to sent him down to the AHL if it was possible.The point isn't just the outcome of the games, the point is to develop the Kings best prospect. And yeah, he was a healthy scratch for a while, but I do think that working/practicing with and playing against actual NHL players under his eventual NHL coach will teach him more than spending a handful of games in Manchester doing what he has already been doing for the past couple years. I know you don't believe in that "practice nonsense" but, suffice to say, I think you're way wrong on that.
