I wish he would have made his retire PC in Chicago but if he had to do it, being home in Winnipeg is a solid secondary option.

And yeah, #19 needs to be in the rafters during the 26-27 season.

The perfect hockey player. Made the absolute most of every single bit of skill he had.

That jersey ceremony is going to be so damn bittersweet.

As Impala said, it’s impressive as hell that Toews was able to overcome his medical stuff, get NHL ready, AND play in 82 games after taking all that time off.
The Winnipeg game at the UC this season will be must attend when he’s honored. I just hope it doesn’t fall within my October vacation.

The jersey retirement after he’s elected to the HOF will be too.

Duncan Keith had a five minute ovation at his game. Refs and other team were into it too.
