Can't believe Sundin is 50. He was my idol when I was a kid. I'll never forget his 500th goal. Seeing him take the puck down the wing shorthanded in overtime, you just knew he was about to complete the hatty to hit the milestone. Beating Kipper clean with the slapshot from just inside the blue line was a beautiful thing to see.

Phaneuf doesn't get the respect he deserves. Was he miscast as a 1D? Yes. Did he work his ass off? Yes. And for him to never shy away from the media, to step up and own the club's many failings during those years, I think he deserves some credit. He shouldn't be blamed for the awful team built around him. He did the best he could.
