I used the no brainer(dont think about it too much) strategy and have the Avs vs TB in the final with the lightning winning it all. with 29 goals

Think I did 35 in mine. Went with Kings over Canes in either 5 or 6 and would imagine that would be a low scoring series.

I don't think many people will take either team to go far, so that's part of it. Not going to win a bracket challenge picking all favorites and popular teams.

Kings have also been crushing it since the TDL. They're dominant at home so I think this is the year they finally beat a banged up Edmonton team since they have home ice. Good chance they'd play Vegas next round who they were 3-1 against this year.

East is wide open. Tampa/Florida are going to kill each other. Aside from who comes out of that series I think the east is up for grabs for just about everyone except Montreal.

It all depends on if Hellebuyck can perform well in the playoffs. He's had a rough last couple of years. The Jets were outclassed as a team too but for the alleged best goalie in the world he's gotta do better than .864% 5.23 GAA and .886% and 3.44

For sure. It all rides on his performance. I also thought I should take the Caps over TBL, but ultimately went with the Bolts.

yeah f*** it i'll just enter mine. i picked st louos, ottawa, and la in round 1, but other than that i've got the same conference finals and cup finals.

There's also not a world-beater in the league this year so the first round could end up in a ton of different ways. I could see any of LA, MTL, NJ, OTT, DAL, FLA winning that first series

i take leafs lose in 7 in the first round as a free space each year. jets are pretty close to that territory for me, and i don't like either of the oil or habs this year. that jersey carolina series i expect to be pretty close.
