TJ Oshie retires

TJ Oshie wasn't in St Louis very long, but I have very fond memories of him. I'm glad he won his cup, but would have loved for him to be a part of the cup team in 2019. He would have fit that team well.
He played like half his career in St. Louis

Oshie's one of those guys in the league about whom you don't hear anyone say an unkind word. Beloved everywhere he's played. That's a great legacy, especially for a guy who engaged and was a net-front presence most of his career.

Really glad to see his body has recovered nicely since ending his playing days.

Always had a soft spot for TJ. Really wanted the Habs to draft him. Would have loved for them to trade for him. But it never happened. Good career, he was a canon ball in his early days and injuries eventually caught up to him.

Godspeed in your next chapter TJ!

Can't think of many guys with more nicknames than Oshie.

Heart-and-soul guy. Beloved for a reason.

Best of luck going forwards, Osh. You're already missed.

No offence to Oshie, he was a good player, but really? How many players are you including in “best ever”?
Yes, he's in the Pantheon of all-time Caps going all the way back, Maruk, Gartner, Langway, Stevens, Bondra, D Hunter...

Stats are stats, but give me Oshie all day every day and his love for everything about the game and fighting with his teammates to win
