Brodie plays the RD side. He has since junior.
Also, calling him an offensive D is kind of insincere. Dude's a top PKer, and defensive stopper for Calgary.

We can use a fast, skilled, gritty forward that has shown an ability to play well with good players.

Flames will more than likely expose Brodie to Seattle but he would be a keeper for the Leafs at this point.

Hyman is a middle 6 winger and Brodie is a top pairing D. It doesn’t mean Hyman is bad it just means his value isn’t close to Brodie’s

Hyman on his own is a third line grinder. TJ is a strong #2 defender.

This is abmismal for the flames.

T.j would have more value then Muzzin if traded, guy is really underated.

Yikes. Not even close. Hyman is good in his role but there's no way anyone is giving up a significant roster player for him. You don't pay a premium for players like him. The plus would have to have more value than Hyman, way more even.
