Dave Tippett did a terrible job this round. Goaltending didn't play well. Defense was shit. Forwards existed.

Holland has a lot of work this summer to completely rebuild the teams defense and find a good goaltender.

Split up one of the hottest lines in hockey. One of the dumbest coaching decisions I’ve ever seen.

That's as Oilers as it gets.

Don't bring the full energy until they are down by 1 late, coach makes the wrong decision not putting the best line in hockey together until it was too late and of course that line goes bezerk with scoring chances instantly, the team misses a gazillion golden opportunities wide open nets etc. then commit an unbelievably dumb penalty that I don't think has ever happened in the last couple of minutes of a playoff game with the goalie pulled then Nurse misses the net on another golden opportunity at the buzzer. The only thing that would make this vintage Oilers is winning Lafraniere.

Honestly though, not the worst outcome in the world. They bump up 6 spots in the draft and have a 12.5% chance of Lafraniere. I'd rather them still be in the playoffs but what can ya do.

This was not expected really thought the young Oilers would get past the aging Hawks. Playoff hockey though Toews just saves his best for it.

I actually like Tippett but wtf was he thinking? Stick with what works and switch it up when it no longer works... it’s just unbelievable.

Holland is going to have to do something this year though, this team isn’t good enough. Might have to cut some core players loose excluding Drai and McD.
