Ha! I remember seeing them way long ago with Soul Asylum and The Screaming Trees (which is the band I actually went to see) and the person I have a connection with shows back in Cali would always get me backstage passes....so when I open the door to the Spin Doctors rooms it was like this big greenish tinted fog comes rolling out smothering me...it was quite impressive considering the amount exhaled needed to create it.
Almost as impressive as the full bottle of Jack Daniels (not the tiny ones or even the 5th of Jack either) Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees entered the stage carrying which was fully empty by the end of the 2nd song and I couldn't even notice a change in the performance the entire way through...

Good times.
