Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else. I couldn't find an answer.

I just moved to New York City from Canada this year. I have TW cable. Other than Rangers/Devils/Isles on MSG, will I only be able to see playoff games that NBC and NBC Sports decide to cover? I have Center Ice, but that doesn't help me for playoffs apparently. Is there any way I'll be able to watch playoff games involving Canadian teams on TV, or is Game Center my only solution?

After the 1st round, NBC and NBCSports are able to air every single game, since there is only 4 matchups and it's pretty easy to schedule, especially with 2 of the matchups taking place in a different time zone.

For any 1st round games this link has been pretty good for me in terms of out of market games, as long as quality means nothing to you: www.firstrowsports.eu

I'm a Texans fan, so it's the only way to watch majority of the games.

I have not had chance to research. Am only chiming in with:

1 - Despise TWC w a passion. Excessive greed and constructs like you describe are sickening.
2 - There is a new thing called AEREO. Supposedly like cable without cable, over your computer. Again, no chance yet to research.

I gotta believe that MSG does not limit permission it gives just to TWC.

Hope that is helpful. Pls post or PM me as you prefer and advice what you find out.

Every single playoff game will be on Comcast-owned channels.

Last year the channels were NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, and NHLN. I think it's the same channels this year as well.
