Pre-Game Talk: Time to talk Playoffs

I think it's pretty annoying that the North division playoffs are starting on the 19th just so they can go through with completely pointless Canucks vs Calgary games. Obviously it's going to lead to a more condensed schedule than US teams will have to deal with

It's not unusual for a team to finish the season on Saturday or Sunday and not start the playoffs until Thursday. That's 4 or 5 days. Assuming that the Leafs/Habs series does start on the 19th, that's 5 days or in other words, not an unusual length of time. If Edm-Win starts the same ni9ght, it will be 4 days for Edmonton and 5 days for Winnipeg. The only unusual wait time for a Canadian team will be Montreal who will 7 days between the end of their season and the start of their playoffs.
