Post-Game Talk: Time to finish the story

Speaking of moms.. my mom never cared about hockey when we were younger really. But this year she’s got super into it. Watching every Oilers game and watching most of the other games too.
Is your mom in her 40's? Does she like Corey Perry? Does she think Connor Brown is hot?

Now you have a lot to think about. ;)

Holy shit, is that a realy quote?

7 game sample size over 2 years is a great way to fully evaluate a goalie :DD

Blaming a Perry PP tap in uncontested in front of the net and a breakaway on Oettinger would be/is pretty dumb.

Dallas in general had to be better and TheBore should know that. Oilers have eaten up 3 goalies these playoffs, and they beat up on DeSmith too, more than they did Oettinger who had a great game 4 against us.

Everyone has torn a strip of Bowman. Especially when Holloway and Broberg were playing lights out. Bowman went about his business, made some nice signings and trades and kaboom.
Klingberg- Bowman rolled the dice on that one. Lots were questioning this one.
Walman, Emberson - masterpiece of a trade
Frederic - Bowman took big heat on this one.
Skinner/ Pickard - Bowman took major heat on this decision
should be mentioned that Kapanen was a great waiver wire pu

My Mom was the biggest Oilers fan. She unfortunately passed just before the playoffs started but the last conversation we had she told me that something about this year felt different. There is calmness and determination this year that felt just like the 84 team. I know she would be ecstatic to see what we have done this far. Jobs not done yet though. Win this for my mom boys.
Sorry for your loss. My Dad died unexpectedly in January and I miss our calls. He had a deep, calm belief in this years team and loved Draisaitl's game. As a punk kid on the way to Edmonton to see a dominant Flyers teams, my Dad once told his doubting sons that Gretzky would score 5 that night to get 50 goals in 39 games. We scoffed until we shared that incredible history together (and so many Dad/sons trips for Oiler games).

We hold in our hearts that loved ones are watching over this run and still sharing its special moments with all of us. Condolences.

For a guy that had little cap space and little assets to work with, he did pretty damn good.

It isn't just that it sucks, it's how it sucks. Multi year bad deals for Dumba and Lybushkin, then perhaps the biggest sin was dumping a 1st for a D man that doesn't appear to be an NHLer in Lindqvist. Lindell is on a dog of a contract too and he sucks.

His handling of the defence is honestly fireable. The fact that Petrovic is in the playoffs two years in a row says it all.
Meant to be on the Dallas forum?

"Stecher is the only D the Oilers have who's capable of playing like an NHLer in his own zone other than Ekholm."
What a f***ing idiot that Oleksiak clown is. Same mouthbreather in the tier with the rest of the specific mains circus of morons.
lol that’s embarrassing how stupid his statement is

The Penguins fans on this board are crazy.

There is literally zero history between our two teams but they can't stand us because they somehow think McDavid having success takes away from Crosby's legacy. I don't think any Oilers fan has a problem with the Penguins.
All Pitt fans are crazy. They are always trolling about mcdavid or Lemieux and 99 . Mouth breathers
