Post-Game Talk: Time to finish the story

Feels like this is a team of destiny. The timely goals, the contributions up and down the entire line-up, Stu Skinner summoning Hasek.

Let's leave no doubt and crush the Panthers. Hoping for a sweep. Manifesting us running them out of the building in games 1 and 2 and then cruising from there.

This is our year. Never thought I'd say it but I so badly want Perry to lift that cup again and ride off into the sunset as a champion ala Peyton Manning.

Ahh if you watch it, Hintz actually had the angle on McDavid, and should have reached the puck at same time, he was also already skating hard, McDavid had to turn and accelerate. He beat Hintz cleanly, even though Hintz was closer, just my opinion but watch it again.
McDavid also had the f***ing puck. So Hintz, skating full speed with no ouck, almost caught McDavid, skating with the puck, while deking the goalie

Has Bouchard topped these cards in all three series?! Unreal. Smartest player on the ice night-in and night-out.

Not surprised to see Robertson was their best player. He sure seemed like it...but thankfully he found his scoring touch too late to really make a difference. People forget this guy had over a hundred points a couple seasons ago and dominated the league in the first quarter of that season.

Damn good games from SKinner and Ekholm too. Can't climb this chart cause it's cumulative, but can see where Ekholm would be if he had 4-5 games like this one.

Really enjoyed seeing the Viking throwing some hits on guys coming at him, and making some nice defensive plays again.

Have to say it again. Ate a ton of crow.

Man SKinner made a ton of big saves after he regrouped.

How many "wtf goals" did he let in after coming back? Not many at all. Made lots of saves he shouldn;t have, including tonight

Please keep this up Stu. Win your cup and I will shutup for life

Stu is going to be a local god if they win. Hometown boy brings home the cup, with what could be a Conn Smythe worthy run…

Said it in the Fire Knoblach thread, but Knob is a huge part of this series win. Completely outclassed DeBoer on every level.

The value of a coach that can make adjustments to counter the opposition is priceless in the playoffs. And beautiful to see after going through 3 coaches in the McDrai era that couldn't adjust to save their lives.

After McDavid and Drai, it's Bouchard for me. Just an incredible playoff performer.
Terrible season from him, I was thinking he was shedding 100k from his new contract every game he played, then he flipped a switch and went beast mode. What a beauty.

We need to learn that the season is meaningless outside of making the playoffs.
