Post-Game Talk: Time to finish the story

Pretty amazing how the Oilers finally got six top 4 defensemen - the long awaited “balance” - and we didn’t even realize it was happening until four games into the playoffs.
I did. I’ve been saying it all year that when we get healthy this team is deeper and better than last year. Taken a lot of heat at times. The one thing I didn’t expect was Klingberg being this good.

Lindell won the battle. But Ceci won the war

Has Bouchard topped these cards in all three series?! Unreal. Smartest player on the ice night-in and night-out.

Not surprised to see Robertson was their best player. He sure seemed like it...but thankfully he found his scoring touch too late to really make a difference. People forget this guy had over a hundred points a couple seasons ago and dominated the league in the first quarter of that season.

It’s worth repeating what a beautiful skater Walman is.

He’s been such a massive addition to our team.

Yeah we have elite dmen . Not said that in a long time. Deep team
So so happy that Ekholm came back and looked good, what an important game for him aswell.
We have depth offensively and defensively this year, such a solid team.

He’s dominated all playoffs. The best Dust Nielsen, Tom Gazzola, Matt Kassian can muster up is “he has been good and not making boneheaded plays”. He’s been conn Smyth level you jackasses

After McDavid and Drai, it's Bouchard for me. Just an incredible playoff performer.

Agreed, I think Bowman hasn’t got a lot of recognition for filling in the holes on the roster. Mostly due to the loss of Holloway and Broberg to offer sheets. But the additions of Klingberg and Walman make our D formidable. D looks great, team is playing its best hockey of the year at the right time…let’s go!!!
