No more speculation than those saying LA was the toughest opponent. My reasons are fairly solid.

And its just my opinion that LA isn't as good as Vegas or Dallas

We beat the doors off in game 6 of the Canucks series that we were at last year and shit kicked the Stars in game 3 this year for games me and my son have been to the last couple years.

It's worse than just goalies. Whenever the Oilers dummy an opponent everyone just pretends that those teams were never that great. Before each series it feels like those teams were hyped as juggernauts. I almost bought into it this year with Dallas, since they are a similar team as last year only with Rantanen added. He looked good out there but didn't bring it where it counted

This is something I've loving about this team this year. This bullcrap where we let goalies get in our heads, and suddenly no one will shoot and we just become obsessed with finding the perfect shot because we think a goalie is unbeatable is over. There is a level of seriousness and consistency in how this team plays now. We can grind down any goalie given enough time with the talent we have.

Great win Oilers! What an amazing finals this will be. Everyone remembers McDavid’s head down after that game seven loss last year. Such a heartbreaking loss to see. That loss was brutal and was probably the reason for their slow start this season. But I don’t think the Oilers really cared about the regular season this year. It was like they only had one goal and nothing else mattered. And now here we are an entire year later. The same two teams have climbed all the way back to the finals once again. What a story it could be.

Die hard Devils fan since 1988 but I come in peace and am fully behind the Oilers for THIS series. Would love to see McDavid and Draisaitl lift the Cup just once. Good luck guys!

How NUTS is it that Bouchard gets flack for terrible defensive lapses and giveaways all year but when the playoffs roll around they completely stop? He has been absolutely fantastic.
