Gritty effort... Oettinger was very good in the game... Stu Skinner not so much.
Oilers largely outplayed the Stars throughout and Dallas simply got more easy goals while Oilers had to battle hard vs a hot goalie for all of theirs.

Missing the 2 best players in the league and essentially 4 of our top 6, this team doubled up the Stars in shots and controlled play for
most of the game. Losing on .800 goaltending is incredibly demoralizing. Stu Skinner is worse right now than Campbell was when he was sent to the AHL. This team is burning through McDrai’s careers with really, really bad goaltending.

It's borderline depressing that this team continues to go to the AHL goalie in Skinner. Game after game, month after month his numbers continue to be atrocious and yet hey, let's keep throwing him in there because he has a good one every 10 games. Any other team would have traded him or sent him down ages ago.
