I'm not the least bit worried about Toews play. I wasn't happy that Q worked him so hard down the stretch, and I get the impression that Toews is now pacing himself for the long playoff haul. Look for him to get better with each game.

Toews has only scored 3 goals in the 15 playoff games he's played in since the cup year. I think this thread can be constructive to show that some people have been a bit unfair to Davey boy and Sharpy. All these guys have rough patches. Even the great Jonathan Toews

Bolland has been horrid in all facets of hockey and is MIA for months

Come now, we aren't Vancouver.

Until we start losing, I'm not worried about Toews. He'll be fine. We're winning and last night won in good fashion. It'd be nice to see him get on the score sheet but up 2-0 in the series I'm not concerned. It seems as if we'll cruise pretty unfazed throughout this series, at least it seems that way right now. Once we face stiffer competition and Toews isn't showing up I'll find that a bigger reason to panic.

Well it is true that apart from his faceoffs. ..58% in the game last night,(though he was only 2 of 4 in the D-zone and they had good chances off those 2 lost draws)...he STUNK in thiz game when ALL our other guys showed up..he played like an MIA...Saad gdts off 7 shots...Toews only 2...no take-aways for Toew, which is the real tip-off he is having a STINKER...also kept losing puck battles...lolligagging and not focused as to getting to the right positions...in all he flat out STUNK in this game...hard to fathom how he could be so off form when everyone else was " all in" executing "Blachawks puck possession dominance"...he just wasn't "there" last night...way way off his "A" game...more like his "F" effort...Unless he played sick, Q needs to have a talk with him...he must play to form...not to STINK level...
