Teams with multiple generational players in their prime don't rebuild.

If somehow this season really goes south for Colorado, they can re-tool, but I can't remember a team in Colorado's situation ever blowing up the team and going into rebuild.

New York Islanders led by Mike Milbury doesn't count. That guy was literally insane. Who else climbs into the stands to beat someone with their own shoe?

They don’t need a rebuild but definately a retool. I think that’s why rants isn’t signed. Colorado doesn’t go far in the playoffs I think they let rants walk and use that money on depth and defence.

Let s assume he Walks it may be a a good thing for the Avs. Maybe they can get two players at 7m each rather than one 14m player, and those players will Benefiz from playing with Mackinnon like Lehkonen does…

No need for a rebuild or retool in any case in my opinion. You don t waste MacKinnon / Makar years for fun…

Yeah you’re talking about the 3 of the hottest teams in the league right now tho. not saying they shouldn’t be sellers if things look dire at the TDL, just that there’s plenty of time to turn it around

Just lost a game that they were leading 3-0. And, no, I'm not trying to troll here. But, aside from MacKinnon, Makar and Blackwood, the team seems unable to compete. Oilers, Jets and Canadiens all were on back to back games and won in Denver. Almost lost to NYR. It looks like the Cup window is fully closed. Willing to look at proposals for majority of roster other than the 3 previously mentioned players.

The sabers don't have a single generational player. Dahlin is amazing, but I can't imagine him ever being top 20 all time greatest damn.
