One down and only three to go. That was the hardest one...now the TEAM believes too!

Keep chopping wood!

I think Game 5 is the hardest game in the 3-0 comeback, especially as the road team.

If they win Game 5, I'll officially have faith. I have a pretty nice feeling right now, but I don't know, even if they're going at 110%, that they can beat the Bruins at their best (read: when Chara doesn't suck). We'll see their effort in Game 5, I thought they dogged it a bit at ES in Game 4. Their PP is the reason they won that game.

I think the Red Sox comeback is comparable.

The Yankees were the clear cut favorites and won some Championships prior to that series. Here you have the big bad Bruins who won the Cup just 2 years ago going against a Rangers team that is not quite as big and maybe not as talented. But what the Rangers do have is I do think they want it a bit more right now. They are tired of just making the playoffs and bowing out. It also helps that we have Lundqvist of course!

I do think we can come back in this series. If we can keep the PP at even 15-20% for the rest of the series, get Hank to steal 1 game of the next 3, and hopefully get Stralman and/or Staal back, we can do it !!!

If you believe that each team has a 50% chance of winning each game, that is the probability.

That doesn't factor in Old Mo', who will be completely on our side after tomorrow night's game.

Remember Roenick saying MSG sounded like a morgue last night? It's going to sound a LOT different Monday night!

If you guys manage to win the next game you'll have Boston. Boston lately has trouble when up 3-0 in a series (Philly, Leafs, maybe this years rangers). Hopefully you can close it out unlike my Leafs.

Who will be our Ortiz in game 4?

Our Ortiz in game 4 was Chris Kreider, who won the game in OT like Ortiz walked off the Sox in game 4.

Game 5 for the Sox was another miracle. They scored twice in the 8th inning off Mo and won it in one of the longest playoff games of all time, ended in bottom of the 14th with an Ortiz walkoff single.

Who will be our Ortiz in game 5?

If I get it right, Bwin's odds is giving Rangers the probability of winning the series 11% at this point. 43 %, 56 %, 45 % in the respective games. Agree that game 5 is crucial. Win that one, very likely to have a finale where ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
If our Ortiz could Challenge Bergeron at an early stage in game five and neutralize him from the game, something might happen. Bergeron scares me.

Remaining cautious. They looked like garbage from game 3 all the way up until the Hagelin goal.

Show some spunk tomorrow, and I'll have faith.

In the first 30 minutes, absolutely. After Hagelin scored and we got momentum, the crowd woke up a great deal, and after Kreider scored it was as loud as it's been post-lockout.

Sorry what?

Teams RARELY come back from 3-0 down, but they do from 2-1. Those were the series scores after 3, but in both this series and the Caps series, we're down 3-1.
Whether it was 2-1 or 3-0 before the last game doesn't matter. What matters it that it's 3-1 now, and the team has shown that they can come back from a two game defect.

Edit: Holy ****, I'm stupid. To be fair, we were still down by two games

Haha. It's ok I lose brain cells every time I watch this team to.

The Caps series went 2-0, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 4-3

Series was all but over until Arron "Dirty Snipes" Asham scored that pivotal goal, pssh Boyle is a better scorer pahleeeeeeze.

Hey, I'm depressed (not to mention angry, sad, etc.) too, but you people are REALLY depressing me! Jeez, there is a huge thread about NEXT SEASON already!

So here is a list of some teams that battled through adversity and won games/series I would have bet were absolutely impossible:

1. Jets win at New England a few years ago in the playoffs, not long after the Jets were thoroughly embarrassed there in a regular season game. This game still makes Mike Francesa twitch.

2. US Olympic hockey team, a group of college kids beating the best team on the planet...also not long after they were thoroughly embarrassed by the Russians at MSG.

3. The Red Sox (ugh...I'm a Yankee fan) coming back from down 3-0 after three straight butt-kickings in games 1-3.

4. The Diamondbacks beating the immortal Mariano Rivera in 2001. Ugh again...but it qualifies.

5. The Aaron Boone comeback game...let's restore some order around here!

6. Tim Tebow beating the Steelers in a playoff game.

7. Joe Namath and the Jets beating the Colts in 1969.

8. Carolina with two late goals in game seven a few years ago to knock Fatso and the Devils out of the playoffs.

9. UConn needing to run the table in the Big East tournament to get to the NCAA tournament, doing it...then running the table in the NCAA tournament as well.

10. The Rangers coming back from down 3-0 to beat the Bruins in 2013.

Feel free to add ones I missed!

This is HFBoards. No positivity allowed. :sarcasm:

Haha my man -31- busting out that Enrique Iglesias! I can be your hero baby! I can take away the pain! Imagine Torts singing that to Richards on the phone before the buyout. Lets do this, one game at a time, we can still win this if we take it to them tomorrow!
