Time for a USA vs Canada Summit Series?

US - Canada would be closer than many realize. U.S has added a ton of talent the last 5 years. They can matchup with Canada just fine. Canada still is better overall obviously, but this is hockey and talent is not always enough.

Are we all going to just ignore the fact that USA is a complete non factor on international stage and Canada dominates like no other country since the Soviet Union?
This series would be a joke.

It would be a NHL/NHLPA/Hockey Canada and USAH initiative. If the revenues are there, they would all go for it. The only question is, are the revenues there? How much would Canadian/American broadcasters pay? rights fees would have to be significant.

In Canada I absolutely believe they would be there. US? Not so much.

I would love to see a Canada vs World All-Stars exhibition series.

A 7 game super series like that would be extremely interesting and you’d imagine it to be a close tight series, naturally I’d have Canada victorious in 6 or 7. But wouldn’t be surprised if World All-Stars took it either.
