Stutzle is a parameter playmaker, he needs to shoot more & take advantage of his shot. He also needs someone on his line to protect his back, Ostapchuk & Gaudette on his line would be interesting. One can dig pucks out of the corner & the other can get it on net & sometimes score. Ostapchuk can take faceoffs for him.

I think Timmy could play with tent post and a banana and be effective but yeah some fun combos available.
However with respect to his play style, regardless of the parameters you use calling Jimmy Stu a perimeter player is completely ridiculous.
He drives the net, takes inside lines etc etc.

What he does is probe the perimeter for a place to attack then goes where he finds the lane inside.

what's funny is that one of Alfredssons favourite plays was the curl back entering the zone and hitting the open man. he would do it all the time.

now Stutzle has mastered it and does it all the time. coincidence? i don't think so.

also 4-0 and still backchecking like a demon?

we got a new Alfie. being mentored by old Alfie.
Curl back was done by Spezza the most,
I remember G saying, he always get nervous when that happens, but he’s good at it.

0 goals in his last 5 games and 7 shots on goal.

Last night again a dominant skating performance by Stutzle vs Anaheim. But he had 0 shots on goal.

I would just like to see him shoot more so we can score more goals. You can't score if you don't shoot.
Wow. I didn't know it had gotten to that point.

I noticed the tape on his neck again, so I wonder if he is feeling a little off and doesn't trust his shot? He went wild in the 2nd half of the season when he hit 39 goals, but we need him to be a dual threat now.

I get it though, when you believe you can set guys up with open nets play after play, the urge is to keep doing that.

He really has been incredible this year. Every time he is on the ice he dominates - he has the puck or he goes and gets it. There was a play in the latter part of the 3rd last night where he stole the puck in our end, had to dipsy doodle around 2 Ducks (maybe twice) and then had to sidestep Hamonic as well. He doesn't give the puck up unless he wants to. Crazy good right now.

Also, while he is tied for 12th (with 2 others) in points, he is (no surprise here) tied for 6th (with 1 other) in assists.
