I think Stutzle could dominate from the wing.
If you instantly improve moving from wing to center I find it hard to imagine one improves even further by going back to wing. It's obvious he's far more comfortable playing the middle of the ice which is his natural position.

He wasn't that impressive on the wing. He's always been great in the middle.

Here's one (more?) reason why he should play center:

Stutzle is effective at center same reason Karlsson was effective at D.

They are playmakers who can pick the puck up behind their goal line and carry it to the offensive zone at will. If you put him on wing you're curbing his best ability.
Patrick Kane was able to do it as a winger

I don’t doubt Stützle could do it as a winger, but then you have no franchise centre which you need, so I don’t understand why you’d do this when he’s doing great as a C. Developing his faceoffs and defensive play sounds like the better strategy.

I truly think the best of Stutzle is yet to come. Like Hossa and Draisaitl.

He oozes skill, skating, IQ and passion. Once he truly matures physically and figures it all out, he'll be something to behold. Similar to how we saw him take over the game in several ways in WJC.

24-30 year old will be a Stutzle to behold and I expect him to have Alfredsson/Giroux/Hossa 30's where he looks even more valuable from a leader and maturity standpoint.

But these next 2 years will be offensive dynamite Stutzle while we watch him put together some stints of remarkable play and consistency.

He has been very responsible with the puck yet still super dynamic and gamebreaking.. it's quite something.

From Alex Adams:" Stephen Halliday told Sportsnet that he asked Stützle for a dinner recommendation for a group of prospects going out together. When they got to the nice Italian restaurant Stützle had suggested, he was notified that Stützle had already paid the bill."
