Recalled/Assigned: Tim Gettinger called Up

Can't remember ever having 4 skaters, age 20 or younger, in the same lineup.

Gettinger-Lias-Fogarty could be a nice 4th line.

Maybe this 4th line will garner more offensive prowess. I watch McLeod thinking he's a bull until he touches the puck. Stone hands, galore!! :help:

I don't get this, maybe Quinn didn't like Gettinger and they're going to call up someone else.

They really shouldn't play Zucc on Monday, let him rest until this damn groin issue is gone.

Btw...can also go 7 D, but that really didn't work last time, was chaos on ice.

Lankiest. And they sure as **** don't play like one of the biggest fwd groups.
This isn't a team full of Jimmy Hayes. Guys like Kreider, Hayes, and Vesey all use their size very effectively. Chytil is still learning. Andersson isn't the tallest but he definitely makes opponents feel those 205 lbs. Zib and Howden are no slouches either, coming in at 6'3".

They may not goon it up, but most of our forwards have shown that they can use their bodies effectively to make plays with the puck.

Thought he was serviceable yesterday. Used his body well along the boards. Didnt look out of place. Sam and Joe said the brass didnt want Zucc playing back to back so maybe that's why hes already back in Hartford.

Im with ya but really naming the 6 of 12 guys I wouldnt want to trade. (Well Zucc seems to be playing hurt)...we still have no heft. 6'3 216 aint gonna match up against 6'4 235 +

Hoped he would get a longer look but with a light schedule the next few weeks and Zuc back, this callup was a cup of coffee/reward.

He looked decent. Game is still a little too fast for him at this level but he's freaking 20, he'll improve.

The key for him is not to sulk and continue to improve. Hartford doesn't exactly have many great forward prospects on that roster this year so if he keeps working hard this can easily turn into a situation like Callahan stretch run 2007.

Not impressed. Needs a lot of development before he’s an NHL player. Would much rather see Nieves called up.
