Tim and Sid mention HFBoards

Agree with you on the CSA fiasco but I don't see how Sid is being a "yes man" for wanting Burke fired. Burke has accomplished nothing here and has fallen severely short of expectations. Timing is all optics, Burke had 4 years and he failed- failed to win, and our prospect pool is considerably worst than what it should be with all those terrible seasons we had in his tenure. Good on Sid.

I guess, although since the Internet came along I hardly ever watch/listen to News/Sports.

Unless someone is an avid sports fan, the probably aren't listening to sports talk radio, I think that is a given. Whether or not you personally listen to sports talk radio.

The biggest thing to come out of HF and make it national was the Vote for Rory campaign. That made HNIC and Ron Maclean discussed it. Even Rory Fitzgerald and a bunch of other NHLers were interviewed about it.

This is kinda blah compared to that. Also, many more of those talking heads read here. I've even seen rumours that start here and make it to those shows.

Ive heard Blair talk about "the hockey boards". There arent that many hockey message boards out there..... Then theres the infamous CBC idesk with Jeff marek clip.

 
right after my infamous "JVR experiment at center" thread I heard TSN Radio Jim Tatti mention the very idea that night.

the media follows us alright
and they should :)

One of them sounds just like Kyper,I can't even tell the voices apart and always have to listen for a few minutes to realize it's not Kyper.

if they say they read HF, itll become a knock against them like "oh whered you get your info, HF?". They mention anything even related to something being talked about on HF, theyll get preached etc.

for what its worth, i agree the whiny greg brady is unlistenable but i think tim and sid are actually pretty good

Perhaps I'm overstating it a bit, but HF is still competition for them regardless.

I like them too, only people on the station who aren't super rigid. I think they have good chemistry together, and can get serious about topics but also just talk about them like normal people do.
To me, they take sports for what they are, fun.

But than again I have been watching them since there score tonight days with cabbie. Back when I actually watched highlight shows.
