Ticket/Attendance Discussion: The Sequel

Perhaps I was too harsh, I don't want to spoil anyone's fun.

That being said, personally, I can't see any attraction to a watch party in an empty arena. From my POV, I put up with the shittyness of the arena to watch the Jets. The atmosphere and the high-quality live hockey outweigh the negatives, like no re-entry while being gouged for everything.

I switched into a playoff strip mid round. Upgraded from 1/4 to 1/2 season ticket after game 2. Probably not many or any who did so and prior to game 5, only had option to pay for game 5.
Interesting didn't know that was even a thing. I imagine you will get something today. If not, email your rep?

Anyone get through to buy tickets on pre-sale? Entered queue at 10:30am, now 30th, hasnt moved in 10-15 minutes
I was just coming here to ask the same question. I got in shortly after you and I started at 76, jumped to 56, and now I have 47 ahead of me. I can't understand how this is taking so long. Presale access is restricted to maybe 6500 people or so, no?

Demand for round 2 resale seems to be minimal, with tickets going for even less than pre-sale prices. Perhaps due to lack of info about injuries, late start times and mostly weekday games and overall poor play in game 7 until end. Although one would think with excitement of ending of Game 7, there would be more interest.

Seems to be mostly in the upper deck corners. The entire lower bowl has less than 50 unsold tickets.

I'm sure they will get some traction on those upler deck parts.

I'd love to go to a game, but the cheapest ticket for friday is like $350 on ticket master last I looked, which is insane.

Makes sense that Friday night is way more desirable. I do worry about the ticket prices getting too high, without getting the season ticket price I would have a hard time spending $250+ per ticket.

Friday is only game with it not being a workday after. Game 1 can be had for $199 on fans first, which is lower than the cheapest pre-sale ticket price. It has to be noted the extra commitment that season ticket holders or pre-sale purchasers make, having to buy a half or full season ticket, including pre-season games for that playoff discount.

An additional thought.

They need to charge more for the whiteout party. Even if the money gets sent to charity or to the city to pay for the cost of the whiteout party. It sold out as soon as the tickets went on sale, which to me means that the tickets are too cheap.

The current prices are just giving money to scalpers.

I don't agree. I think it's in the Jets and general publics best interest to have them as cheap as possible, provided expenses are covered.

For the Jets, you can engage more fans who want to part of the action but don't have the financial capacity to buy game tickets. Same coin for the general public, you want minimum entry cost to be a part of the action.

If $10/ticket covers the cost of the current event size, then the best option would be to make the event larger at the same price per ticket. Clearly the interest in there from the fans.

What were the pre-sale prices? The cheapest tickets on Fans First are $290 for upper deck, $450 for 200's and $525 for 100's. We have season ticket pricing and those prices are all more than double that. Almost 3 X's for upper deck.

Stubhub get in the building price for 300s is right around 225

Game two is north of $300.
It is the time of year when it pays to be a ST holder. We have our regular 2 seats in the 200's that we are paying $207 for in the 2nd round and we bought an extra 2 pair in the upper deck do deal with the extra demand in our group from family and friends and those tickets are $100 for round 2.

How did you get extra tickets in upper for $100? Least expensive in pre sale that I saw was $200. I have half-season.

And that's the browsing price - I assume there are random fees and crap.

Also, day of week actually matters, lol - Friday is a hotter ticket than Wednesday.

$200 was least expensive upper deck last 2-3 rows on ends that I saw. I believe prices change every 3 rows.
