If we are getting close to the playoffs, I think Dylan Peterson will be the guy they bring up. I think they should leave him down and let him be successful. build some confidence. You have to remember. In Finland, he never put up any numbers and wasn’t given much of a chance to. I think he’s just tapping into his offensive game.Do you think this fella would be call up worthy if we traded Saad at some point?
Bitten looked good in his fight!I have to appreciate Robertsson coming back from injury still blocking several shots. Kaski has drawn 2 penalties. Other than that, not very good.
That was best fight I’ve seen on long while.Jackeye however you spell it got his eye and face jacked by bitten. Definitely one to watch on hockey fights.com.
All defense…not!! HahaThat was best fight I’ve seen on long while.
So you are watching this game, do you see Dvo as a dominant center or see anything dominant in this game that makes you think he will consistently contribute at the NHL level now or do you see a player who needs more seasoning? That was best fight I’ve seen on long while.
The latter. You can see the talent, but he hasn’t been consistently impactful. He isn’t ready. So you are watching this game, do you see Dvo as a dominant center or see anything dominant in this game that makes you think he will consistently contribute at the NHL level now or do you see a player who needs more seasoning?

Kaskimski looks like a player. Looks like the Polak trade tree may yield more fruit.I have to appreciate Robertsson coming back from injury still blocking several shots. Kaski has drawn 2 penalties. Other than that, not very good.
I have been watching these games and Dvo is not dominant even though he has been putting up points. He seems hesitant to carry the puck. When he does he looks more effective. He may need to improve his conditioning as well as he is usually the first one on his line to head for the bench. I’m hoping he has a good WJC and comes back with more confidence. So you are watching this game, do you see Dvo as a dominant center or see anything dominant in this game that makes you think he will consistently contribute at the NHL level now or do you see a player who needs more seasoning?

Agreed. Needs to improve on winning puck battles on the boards, but I think that will come as he gains confidence. Bolduc made this adjustment last year. Offensively he seems to have good timing and gets to the right spots. Also needs to improve on making the correct play when under duress.Needs to improve his quickness.
I’ll admit to being more than a little shocked that Buchinger’s offensive contributions haven’t translated yet.I still think long term (with seasoning) that Buchinger may be a better player than both.
I'm not. I think he's going to be better than we make him out to be. But I don't see him exploding offensively until middle of next season.I’ll admit to being more than a little shocked that Buchinger’s offensive contributions haven’t translated yet.
I would agree with this. He's still getting his footing. Much smarter and faster hockey players at this level and less time and space to work in. (as Dvo has found out.) While he makes good decisions with the puck, he will need to find a healthy medium between being confident in his talent and being conservative in his decision making. If he's too conservative, then he will probably never see the NHL. He will have to put some points up. I think he has a good trajectory going.I'm not. I have a hard time seeing an NHL future for MAG and Malmstrom. They have stalled hard. I also think it's a very big Longshot for Mayich.I would agree with this. He's still getting his footing. On the other hand, I don't see Gaudet being a player. I really liked Malmstrom when we got him, but he may run out of time like Gaudet.
