Proposal: Three way trade - BUF/NYI/VAN

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Isles don't do this....Don't like Cozens and We have too many LD don't need another one in Byram. Don't understand my isles, we move Dobson we have a huge hole on RD
 
Does Byram play right side cuz with Hughes, Petterson locked up and D Petey looking ready to jump up the left side is set
 
Why is Vancouver in this trade? They are getting premium for Petersson. Islanders are coming out on the losing end.

Byram is no longer needed, with Hughes being top dog, Pettersson being acquired and coaching staff deciding to bring up Pettersson earlier than we thought, Soucy is also still here. At best he's flipped, at worst he's buried.

Cozen would be fine.

The first doesn't help us compete this year, which has been the over riding narritive this season, backed up by nearly every move Allvin has made.

All this for the most valuable piece and best player in the deal, no disrespect to Dobson.

As an Islanders fan I can say that Dobson would be utterly redundant with the Sabres and all the offensive defensemen on the roster. Barzal is a puck possession wizard who sadly hesitates to shoot in quite a few situations.

Absolutely..even if he is a RD.. he is not remotely close to what we need on the back end.

Romanov would be more of what’s needed based on how your blueline is structured but I can’t see Lou even thinking of moving him and his old school style of play.

Not what I said. We could use a good center. We could use more consistent, quality vets like Zucker. We could use an RDH who’s actually good at defense. We don’t need another Charmin soft, one-way (offense only) D.
