These guys show up to play when they feel like it which isn't often enough. I like hockey enough that I'll watch whatever game interests me the most and it won't necessarily be these guys. I'll be interested again in what they look like next season, this one is burnt toast. Also, Lav deserves better than this; at least he's getting paid well.

All of last year we complained about him not changing things up. There's no one right way to do it. But what I do know he has lost the team and it doesn't matter if he stays with the same lines or mixes them up every shift. He f***ing blows.

Last year was magic. Everything he did worked. This year the complete opposite.

Between players being butt hurt about contracts/moves and being too cocky, probably took a vacation in the offseason instead of prepping for the season, everyone went from hitting their ceilings to now hitting their floors.

People need to view Miller as being acquired in the offseason. That’s a move for next year on a player the organization likes to help them build forward. It just so happens he was available right now and Vancouver was set on moving him for Pennie’s on the dollar.

Fire Drury? Why? He got rid of our worst forward over the summer, the players pouted. He got rid of our worst or second worst defenseman in season, the team pouted. This roster is better than their results. Drury isn’t the best GM around but why are we again taking the blame off the players? It’s not Drury. It’s not Laviolette, although he has more blame than Drury bc he’s the coach but again, it’s the players.

This clusterf*** isn’t because of Drury and it’s not because of Laviolette. It’s because of this core group of players being mentally weak, being lazy, playing lazy, being entitled and not being hard workers. On paper (what the GM can control) this team should be an easy playoff team. Is it Drury’s fault Igor has been complete shit this season? Is it his fault the players are lazy and never are ready to play?

Fire Drury, don’t fire Drury - it doesn’t matter with this core group of players. They’re rotten. I coach can save them, no GM can save them. Only the players can save themselves and they’ve clearly shown they’re unwilling to change. How many coaches are we going to give them? We’re going to give this core their 4th coach and 3rd GM?

Just for a by the by. I'm on the fence on firing either Drury or Laviolette. I kind of expect if the Rangers fail to make the postseason though that Laviolette will not be back. He might not be back next year anyway.

All that said.....your GM and your coach unless they're particularly special.....and I don't think either Drury or Laviolette are......are kind of hired to be fired. For the most part around the league those who hold those jobs are temporary placeholders. Even if the Rangers somehow squeak into the playoffs this has been a disaster of a season and IMO the GM, the coaching staff, the players all share in the making of this disaster. I'm not going to cry tears if the GM or the coaching staff get replaced. I'm not going to be crying if some of the core leadership walk the plank either---particularly # 93 and maybe even # 20. The team lost the plot......the GM and coaches were helpless/useless as to getting the team back on track. It's not always easy but it's what their job is.

Keep Laff at all costs just because seeing him not work out would be unbearably depressing LOL. Is the rebuild done yet?

Laviolette hasn’t helped himself, but it’s okay to be mad at the players.

Drurys gotta sell, and continue overhauling the roster. There’s a mentality in that locker room that needs to go. Also Lafreniere has been majorly disappointing. Hes basically the opposite of everything he was hyped up to be.
