They just refuse to play normal NHL hockey. They wanna play patty cake and reverse-o-rama. It fails constantly. They keep doing it.

Complete aversion of contact in the neutral zone.

Sell Fox and Igor before their NMCs hit. These are your best players and they are inspiring people to play like complete garbage.

Literally a season ending loss.

To do it against this Penguins team, missing Crosby and Malkin, with Igor yet again getting outplayed. Just putrid.

I don’t know why I believed they could catch the playoff spot. That’s over now.

I remember watching Georgiev and watching Igor and think when Igor has stinkers at least he owns up to them. I thought the big difference between Georgiev and Igor was the quality of a person he was. But I'm done with him after the 11.5M heist. He's a f***ing greedy bum. This is also worse than the Daniel Jones contract. Jones sucks. Igor is just a mental f***ing little person.

I don't know what us fans are expecting when we have a team that doesn't f***ing forecheck, doesn't push the puck to the middle of the ice in the offensive zone, prioritize deflections from shots from the point over actual raw offensive (do we even try to go for rebound shots or are in position for a rebound? NO. Because the forwards are facing the blueline for deflections), how many turnovers so we give up a game, why do players refuse to backcheck?, why haven't we come up with a viable system and prioritize defense over offense, why is it every Ranger player's prerogative to pass in prime shot areas? / drive the zone and then pass it back to D-men that don't want to skate / east-west a pass for a turnover?

Lafreniere is very quickly becoming one of my least favorite players to watch play. His lack of ability to keep his feet moving is so utterly aggravating it’s hard to express. He’s constantly getting the puck while standing still or shortly after getting the puck, he immediately stops and pulls up.
Surely Montreal would love him. US for Poutine: Laffy for Caufield. Make it happen Drury. Remind Montreal how amazing everything French is and that every player on their roster should be francophone.

they're always looking for an easy, unexpected play rather than driving ahead.

Well coached team with hungry players. Our guys are the idiots who go out drinking four times a week, never show up to class and are then surprised that the final exam they crammed for got an F.

Laviolette is an utter disgrace of a coach. If Drury had any f***ing balls he'd f***ing fire him before tomorrow's game. But he won't. Just like he gave in on the 11.5M anchor of a contract.

I cannot reiterate enough that you have to sell the best players on the team. The best players will inevitably be your leaders and these guys are passive low effort low energy malcontents. Panarin is the biggest offender.

Pittsburgh just proved you can win with a roster of ham n eggers if they give a shit and play normal hockey. Elite talent is not necessary. Being a professional is.
