You know, come to think of it, I do recall those summers being quite bad. I was 10 during the summer of '97, and 11 during the summer of '98, and I attended outdoor day camps both years. I seem to remember every day was hot, sticky, disgusting, and filled with bugs. I think it was 1998 when "El Nino" was the go-to explanation for the weird weather. Looking back, I don't buy that, I think it was just an early warning sign of the climate crisis we're knee deep in now.

For what it's worth, it's undeniably hot where I am, but there's actually a bit of a breeze. I'm sure it's still humid but I don't feel physically drained after walking a couple blocks.

also 12$ got these for some woodshop listening. two right albums are metallica's s&m and city and colour's the hurry and the harm

i filed an online report on them on monday. i was home with all the windows closed and the goddamn bass coming from inside his house was driving mental. 'untz...untz...untz...untz....' for hours. its about 80-100 yards away

i didnt want to go over as i dont want him to know it was me pissed off.. i really didnt expect the bylaw people to do anything but surprise! they gave the guy the message.

he did the same thing last saturday afternoon from 3 to 9pm but with outdoor speakers.... it drove me nuts as well but i let it slide as he had some sort of get together. but i cant let this become a habit for him so nip it in the bud. to each their own for musical tastes but dont force me to listen to it

Let me tell you something, there's a house on the next block from me about 3 house down behind the houses on my street, on TUESDAY nights from 11pm till 3 or 4am they crank up some kind of ethnic music inside the house (Greek or Yiddish???) and just like with your situation the BASS pulsates against my windows and walls from that far away (I'm on the 2nd floor on top of the hill, I hear everything) I ask the people across the street from me, but they're 85 and don't hear shit!, I had to call the cops, it happened a few more times but other people must have complained, I havent heard it for a while, but what FU*&ING nerve some people have. I hear you 82 that shit pisses me off

I’m sorry but I enjoy playing my Eastern Europe greatest hits late on Tuesday to help relax me. I will turn it down a bit.
