Ugh, that's rough. At least it's the basement though (assuming it's not going to destroy anything) as opposed to a regular living area. If mine went it would flood my ranch basically.

I have all of my archery equipment in the basement. Around 100 bows, probably a thousand arrows, a pretty good broadhead collection, tools and accessories I'd rather my living room get destroyed

Nothing got ruined though.
Everything is stored pretty well and mostly off of the floor.

It’s a tragic loss for the US figure skating community. Many of the passengers were returning from an event in Kansas.

As a fellow rink rat, I feel a special kinship with figure skaters, and so I am particularly saddened by this news.

I got laid off on a Friday, with a phone call, while I was on vacation. Apparently it's easier this way, no altercations, f***ing cowards didn't have the balls to do it in person. After a ton of back and fourth the head of security vouched for me so I could get back into the building after my vacation, an old Capital Police Cop, awesome dude who I knew for years.

I cleaned out the stuff from my office while every sack of shit that I worked with, played poker with, went to their families funerals and celebrated all sorts of life events together good and bad for 12 years stared at the ground and couldn't look me in the eye. That hurt really bad, this was at the NBA, yeah the shitty basketball league. f*** those people other than David Stern.

Smaller non commerical plane down in Philly, looks like it landed right into a building/street. Really hope everyone on the ground is ok but from the other videos I saw it's probably going to end up being another tragic event. It basically did a nose dive into the ground and the impact looks insane...
