OT: Thread About Nothing - 2026 edition

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
There is a "beer store" down the block from my office that not only sells joints and edibles outside of the legal dispensary framework, but apparently you can get loose Cialis pills. One of my coworkers went in to buy a spliff and someone came in and asked for two Cialis. There is still grime in NYC, you just have to know where to look.

That being said, I'm not trusting a random store to give me loose Cialis.
Isn’t the whole point of cialis to not be loose?

I hope the citizens of Keene, NH find this as amusing as I did

With the Knicks championship parade about to get underway, I want to take this opportunity to say that Empire State of Mind is a dogshit tier NYC anthem. Mediocre raps by Jay-Z about himself- not the city- and Alicia Keys warbling annoyingly as the chorus, which sounds even worse when someone tries to sing it for themselves. Hell I'd even say Taylor Swift's completely inauthentic love letter to New York sounds better than this.

I'm not posting the YouTube video because we've all heard it and you all know what I'm talking about.

Some showers last night, no fish, the 20+ mph gust made casting pretty difficult. But at least I got a rainbow.

Edit: I just saw that wind gust hit 40 mph yesterday. Lol.

I’m at the playground with my foster daughter as we speak. Today was the usual “swimming lessons for the kid and then lunch with wife, mom, and kid.” It’s an enjoyable routine. Wife wanted to go shopping afterward but I had a haircut scheduled at 4pm.

Being a parent has given my life so much meaning, it’s a lovely experience.

It gets better and better as they get older in my view.

finished the red guitar for friend tonight...just needs setup, get intonation dialed in and pickup height adjustment to balance as they share one volume and one tone.

basically same guitar i made for myself but note different placement of knobs and switch...that was intentional. my friend wanted more space due his play style...i prefer less space

that's top notch work. They look fantastic. Post a short video of you playing yours when you get it dialed in.

Nice job dude, came out great, I love the red.

The stands triggered me though, I despise them, especially the one on the right, they're some of the worst things ever.

hi everyone

how we doin?
Doing fine, thanks for asking. We’re doing family photos tomorrow and then going to a Brooklyn Cyclones game. Every year my wife’s workplace is a sponsor for one of the theme nights and this year is that game.

Meanwhile I’ve been diving into this valuable list from The Atlantic. Think of any band, writer, YouTuber, etc and they’re probably gonna be in this.

Wu-Tang is for the children!

(Go Knicks. The Nets haven’t been my team for a very long time. F**k Bruce Ratner. F**k Dolan too obviously but that’s par for liking the Knicks. If you see a Knicks hat and a Devils tattoo on the left calf, pushing a baby stroller on a boardwalk this summer, come say hi!)

Do you want some more kids? I know where you can buy some harshly used ones that were flogged like sled dogs and put away wet.

It's time to start your own brand.

Then you can have a reality TV show on the History channel like Orange County Choppers but with custom guitars.
