What's even the point of Reaves when the team seems to have a policy against fighting and even seemingly body contact? Pretty sure this is my lowest interest level since I was a little kid in the 70s. What is there to look forward to next season that will be any different than the last 6? I honestly don't get it. At the very minimum they should have replaced Keefe (not because he did anything wrong but because it would be the easiest major change - and something has to).

There's 31 other teams in the league, and Nylander will not go to 10 of those teams. So Treliving has 21 teams to make a deal with. I don't think TOR has lost any leverage. Marner is next offseason's problem.

I wouldn't call Bertuzzi or Domi 'old school tough guys'. And the offseason isn't even close to being finished - there's like 2 months until training camp.

I agree. Keefe should have been let go. If Quenneville gets reinstated, it's a no brainer to hire him.

How Keefe wasn’t fired may be the biggest head scratcher this off season. Sadly, doesn’t surprise me.

I'm pretty sure the team lost leverage on Marner and Matthews on July 1 when their NMC's kicked in without at least a handshake deal (which they obviously don't have).

I love the Toronto Maple Leafs. I frequent the forum frequently because of that. It would make sense that I would come across your whiny post.

Yeah, I remember the excitement of the Ballard years, and I certainly recall all the excitement l felt knowing the PA Parenteau's and Matt Stajan's were going to lead the Leafs to the promised land.
