So I did the scorer and rookie polls preseason of last year, figured we'd give them another go around.

HF, you were right on Zuccarello leading in points, totally wrong on picking Vesey and Buch over Skjei for rookie of the year. (Some of you cheated and voted after the thread was bumped.) I goofed in completely underestimating JT Miller by leaving him off the poll entirely.

This year, leading scorer is once again way up in the air. Zibanejad looks to play increased minutes. Could Shattenkirk rack up enough time on the power play to lead the side? You be the judge.

Nash.He has alot to prove to his doubters out there

34 goals
31 assists
65 points

Yeah, Nash has never had such an important season than this year, but it might be too late for him consider a new contract here in New York. In consider his two let down years. I voted Kreider though and I`m positive about him concerning his overall progression.

I believe that Nash will have most goals on this team - closest person for a sniper in wing position, and Kevin Shattenkirk second in goals. Kevin looks really motivated. If Zucc get an A role as AV mentioned - not sure how he will perform in a such a role, because it`s new for him hence why I did not vote Zucc this year.

I think Zibanejad takes the next step this season.

25 goals, 38 assists, 63 points.

Pretty much what I expect. A few one-time slapshot goals from the left circle would be nice too -- as long as we're hitting the net ...

If Zibanejad actually starts connecting with his one-timers on the PP, and he stays healthy the entire season, I could see 65+ points for him.

Would be marvelous to see him break 70.

If it is Zucc and Zibanejad fighting this season for the top scoring slot, I demand the chart be referred to as ZZ Top.

Gunna go with shattenkirk... I think he puts up at least 50, maybe 60. This is a committee offense.

DJ Mika getting passes on the pp from righty **** deuces should do a lot for his pt totals

I'm voting for Zucc

If Zbad or Shattenkirk produces a lot of points, you can be very sure that Zucc will have an assist or the goal from a lot of that production.

I'm not so optimistic on Shattenkirk hitting 50 as a Ranger as some people are, but I want to be proven wrong.

You should post a link to your thread from last season. It will be interesting to see how many people vote the same way in both threads.
