I’m surprised no one mentioned Knob cost us the game as well. Not pulling Skinner after the third goal is gen Z don’t hurt feelings type coaching

Pull .... Stuart "Grant Fuhr" Skinner?

I've already reported you for this blasphemy

*I didn't but still how dare you speak Skinner-Slander.

This shit needs to be pinned in every GDT that Stewy starts in

f*** this fraud

The CSA model also debunks the hyper high danger chances theory.

They call what most models call high danger chances mid danger chances, and then have a third category for what is basically sure goals that they call high danger chances.

We're still top 3 defensively on chances against with that model.

If you’re pumping 47 shots 3 goals isn’t good though. 0-2 on the PP while they go 2-0. We actually lost this one on the special teams battle which again should be our calling card.
They’re not going to score 8 either though based on 8 or 9% shooting on 47 shots.

Goalies outright steal games. Goalies outright give games away. Tonight both were true.

Please explain how a 0.901 Sv% is indicative of a goalie playing “well”.
I didn’t say he played well the entire playoffs I said he played well outside of the Canucks series. He played terrible in the Canucks series I have no problem saying that. His save % was .913 in the other 3 rounds.

Everyone outside the market seems to get it, too.

Particularly the advanced stats guys.
That's the scary thing. Our coaching and player buy in when it comes to defense has been inspiring this year. Imo it even forgives a lot of the poor shooting. The team has collectively chosen not to cheat for offense.

And yet there are statistical measures that have goalies on bottom teams doing better than what we have. You have to seriously doubt those advanced stats on D in order to defend Skinner, or Pickard.

He also gave away the series vs the Golden Knights the year before and almost f***ed up the series clinching win vs the Kings that same year.

He sucks.
If Knobloch was our coach he moves him out for a couple of games like he did vs the Canucks and we probably go on to win the cup that year. Woodcroft just kept throwing him out there. I agree with you he was awful in that series though.
