The bigger the trade, the more nervous I am. We still have little idea what Briere values. Bad contracts need to come back too. I don't know if this maximizes individual values or not; it depends on the pieces because those Flyers names are all vastly different in perception.

The Blues look like a team wanting to retool quickly. The Flyers are rebuilding. Any optimism for value in return comes from that discrepancy.
