He has no trade restrictions with his contract. If the Flyers move him he can either go where he was traded or retire. It’s a business. He knew that when he entered the league. He’s an example of the complacency that has settled in with the franchise. One would think that he’d want to be in the POs and compete for the SC.

Laughton deserves a chance to make the playoffs with this roster.

It worked last year, might as well try it again this year since they didn't jettison him or others as soon as they failed to make the playoffs.
