Scott Laughton has to go down as one of the most overrated Flyers ever.

The Commanders are now in the 2nd rd of the playoffs.

The only "scrubs" are Seeler and Hathaway.
Poehling and Laughton have a real market, as does Risto.

I don't see anyone trading for Laughton as a center, rather as a LW who can play center on the pinch, the PK and PP2.

A couple take aways from that video:
1) #cultreeeeee
2) Kevin really knows how to cater to the authentics. Must have gotten a briefing when he first got here. Every major talking point in that clip is an authentic's wet dream
3) whoever that is on the left should just mute his mic. Him breathing and coughing into the mic got to me by the end
4) f*** Colby

The Commanders got there after changing owners and firing everyone. That's the real lesson.

I think Kurz died a little bit inside when Colby said he doesn’t see the Flyers vision.

It's called really bad goaltending:
(GA-xGA)/60:

PHL +0.58
Pens +0.40
Van +0.35
CBJ +0.34
DET +0.28
Boston +0.27
Chicago +0.25
Isles +0.25

WASH -0.65
WIN -0.58
Anaheim -0.51 [how can you have great goaltending and be in the bottom 5?]
NYR -0.39

How can a team that is so good at developing goalies have such bad goaltending?

Because their starting goaltender is in jail?

Ideally, Ersson 1B and they might never have brought Fedotov over.
Instead, Kolosov could force their hand (otherwise they would have left him in the KHL), and Fedotov had adjustment pains.

But when Ersson is healthy, as he's been lately, he has above average goalie upside.
Question is how big of a work load he can handle.

Fedotov spent a month working with Dilly and is much improved - this is why they want the European goalies to come over, takes time to adjust to NA game.

The wildcard is Tomek, now 27, has struggled with injuries but seems to have turned the corner.
Finished last season POs, 13g .936 sv%, this season 17g .929 in Czechia league.
If he wanted to come over, they'd probably start him in LHV, but give him a nice split ($400K?/$750K) contract.

And a really bad power play.

Also, said wildcard. Bit of a missing info there.
Last season got to POs, 13 games.936 Sv. Woop woop
Reg season though... 36 games, .908 and 3.04 GAA

Fares quite well this season so far. Just thought posting only the better half of last season was hilarious.

They might not have brought over a guy they gave 7 million dollars to is one hell of a defense. Whew.
Would they have given him that money if Hart was their starting goalie and Ersson the 1B?

POs if it's an extended run have more weight than regular season.
The fact that he's picked up where he left off suggests he might have turned the corner.
That's why you pay scouts.

It's not like they'd depend on him for anything, but he's playing well enough they might want to take a look if he wants to come over.
