He will because nobody wants to give him that, and if they do, he will raise the priceI will say if Briere can still get a 1st for Laughton, he will look very good. They should have done it earlier, but now it would much more in favor of the Flyers.
Owed it to the boys in the room.Didn’t they get offered a first last year, after it was either said or rumored they wanted a first, then Briere went, Nah.
Depends if you believe that the President of the PHWA is credible or not.Didn’t they get offered a first last year, after it was either said or rumored they wanted a first, then Briere went, Nah.
I mean, if he's worth that much, probably best to re-sign him, no?What would the Flyers do if a team actually met their price for Laughton: a 1st and a 1st born son? Would they have a nervous breakdown? Would they lose the will to live and stage their own (Keith) Jonestown?
Life as a Flyers fan every draftWhen they finally trade Laughton, even for a 1st, I expect I’ll have the same feeling as when they finally traded Provorov and we got a Bonk. A future Hart trophy winner will probably go one pick later.
The hate directed at this kid is why Philly will never lose its reputation. "Passion" lolDucks held a practice as t UPenn today. Typically they are open to the public, but not this one Everyone is just eating up this meaningless game
Cutter Gauthier prepares to face booing Flyers fans: ‘I just wish they knew the truth’
“The Penn Ice Rink apologizes,” read a sign in all caps posted on the double-glass-door entrance, “but at the request of the Anaheim Ducks organization, today’s practice is closed to spectators.”
Also:
Gauthier, once thought to be a key piece of the Flyers’ ongoing rebuild, was asked if he had any message for the Philadelphia fans who are still displeased with the way everything transpired.
“I just wish they knew the truth, I would say that,” he said. “But other than that, I’m not here to please everyone. I’m here to do what’s best for me and do what’s right for my development, and that’s what I’m working towards.”
So why doesn’t Gauthier just tell his side of the story? Don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% convinced that the Flyers were the bad guy, but the kid, or his agent, need to share their take on it.Ducks held a practice as t UPenn today. He either should come out with it, or have never hinted anything and kept quiet. So why doesn’t Gauthier just tell his side of the story? Don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% convinced that the Flyers were the bad guy, but the kid, or his agent, need to share their take on it.
Because hockey players don’t air dirty laundry. He has nothing to gain by bad mouthing the Flyers organization. So why doesn’t Gauthier just tell his side of the story? Don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% convinced that the Flyers were the bad guy, but the kid, or his agent, need to share their take on it.
I’d agree if he didn’t keep piping up with comments on it.Because hockey players don’t air dirty laundry. He has nothing to gain by bad mouthing the Flyers organization.
Somehow this kid is more mature than the Flyers front office who bashed him the first chance they got.
Laughton for a veteran goalie and a 4th.Pippin is more likely to trade for a goalie, than to sell at the current time.
