Those are your centericemen. Brian Boyle is a flash in the pan. Zajac is the only really good centericeman on the Devils.

versus

Crosby
Malkin
Brassard
Sheary.

Plus, all the hooking and holding will slow your team down. Like I said above, you'll win a game or two and there will be several close ones, much like the '12 Islanders series or last years Toronto-Washington series, but the Pens WILL take it in 5 or 6 games.

And thanks for showing how clueless you are lol.

The Caps would scare me as far as being the team who doesn’t give a crap anymore and is just there to see how far they can go. I think the expectations are gone as far as them winning a cup. They also have a bunch of new guys who weren’t there the last few years. Sometimes this is the year you go deeper than everyone thinks

Yup. Leafs and Caps are 2 teams flying under the radar in the east this year

No one has any serious expectations for either team but both rock solid teams who could do damage.

I'd rather have him than Brassard. Either way, I was quoting the poster who said Zajac was the only good center on the Devils.

So your comment is not even relevant.

Yeah, I too would take Nico in a heartbeat over a veteran center who produces at a similar clip and has 55 points in 78 playoff games and is well known to elevate his game in the playoffs.

My mistake, the Devils have TWO good centers who'd be 4C on the Pens.

Triggered much? My original post had nothing to do with the Pens.

Nico and Brassard are scoring at the pace and Nico is better defensively. How outlandish that I say I would prefer Nico to Brassard!!

Nobody told me there'd be days like these...

Agree that no NJ C is above the top two on the Pens. Not sure about 3C. Super short term sure but for mere mortals not sure how much better Brassard has been this year compared to Hischier.

All the top contenders have added huge pieces to put them over the top. I can't remember the last time this many teams were this loaded with talent.

Pittsburgh adding Brassard.
TB getting Mcdonaugh & Miller
Bos - Nash
Winnipeg -Stastny
Nashville - Turris.

Then you have teams like Philly, Vegas, SJ, TOR.. all playing fantastic hockey.

Safe to see, this is gonna be pure hockey porn come playoffs.

I'm going to be beating my controller to this hockey porn.

Those awful Devils centers sure handled those elite Pitt centers in the first two games they played this season...

The guys who accounted for two of only three goals scored by the Penguins? Yup, sure did... The team as whole could stand to play better though.

Tampa looks stacked with their D. They look pretty darn good everywhere.

While the Pens went with depth on offense again, their D will need to step up. Their third pairing is the weakest link. Murray knows playoff hockey, in fact everyone knows Pens are not regular season killers.

Bruins are playing stingy puck possession and look poised. They have a system that frustrates the structure or teams built like the Pens and Bolts.

It’s all about the East. Nashville will be meeting the Pens or the Bolts.

Might be a rematch of last year.

Pens win cup in 6 (on the road again).

Malkin Conn Smythe

Malkin Conn Smythe? It’s already been given to Crosby.

Pains me to say it but I cant see anyone else coming out of the east besides TBL... or BOS if they can stay hot. The west has too many good teams for me to whittle down. This seriously could be Winnipeg's year that they make a serious run. And im not gonna lie, those fans deserve it. I cant imagine seeing a franchise leave only to win in another city.

What does Boston have on Pittsburgh? Other than physicality.

If Florida somehow sneaks in over Columbus we could see in the first round:

Tampa vs Florida - Battle of Florida
Toronto vs Boston - original 6 rivals
Washington vs New Jersey - had some great series in the past
Pittsburgh vs Philly - Battle of Pennsylvania and longtime heated rivals

Vegas vs Anaheim - possible new Pacific Division rivalry
LA vs San Jose - enough said
Winnipeg vs Minnesota - Battle of the North
Nashville vs Dallas - Battle of the Country Music meccas

If Florida somehow sneaks in over Columbus we could see in the first round:

Tampa vs Florida - Battle of Florida - florida takes this in 7 games. Barkov scores hatty
Toronto vs Boston - original 6 rivals - kapanen will show what he is made off ;)
Washington vs New Jersey - had some great series in the past
Pittsburgh vs Philly - Battle of Pennsylvania and longtime heated rivals

Vegas vs Anaheim - possible new Pacific Division rivalry - vegas takes this in 6 games.
LA vs Minnesota - granny and koivu to second round, granny also wakes up and ends up being top scorer in playoffs.
Winnipeg vs - San Jose - i want winnipeg and minnesota to second round, laine will end up top scored in playoffs.
Nashville vs Dallas - Battle of the Country Music meccas, pekka will stand on his head and radulow ends ups with 0 goals, nsh wins in 4 games

It also looks like that Carolina have changes to get into Playoffs, aho & teräväinen could be pretty prutal there :) they we been playing pretty lights out lately

Damn, that's my porn weak spot. Well, better give my girl a head's up of what's to come (pun probably intended, no time to think!).

But yeah it's going to be great hockey I would think. Should be off the hook, dudes.
