The Oilers electrical grid is flickering with special teams needing a jolt, Kane’s new white stick didn’t come with batteries and a Brown out happening - which would be a good thing but dead bulb Erne isn’t going to light any lamps either.

Goaltending is a wish and a prayer which is an improvement over utterly incompetent which opened the season for us.

We have a Scheduled Loss tomorrow and after the Dead On Arrival performance the Oilers gave last game the only hope we have of salvaging 2 points and quite possibly the season rest on beating the Devils in New Jersey which we don’t often do anymore.

But when the chips are down McDavid usually puts the team on his back. He’s going to need to do just that tonight.

Huge game tonight - a must win before Christmas to inch us closer to - ahem - the last wildcard spot….

The good news (if there is any in this miserable season) is EDM is only a few games back of .500 after the bunch of loses. Just need to win these next two before the Xmas break (please start Pickard for both and see what happens) and they will be back to that mark. Just stay .500 and see if this team can go on a run again in the New Year. That's all I've got. lol

Need a win here in a big way.

It’s amazing the team was able to win so many in a row to finally crawl back to .500 and are effectively flushing all that work again. Not sure why it’s so hard for this team to avoid slides.

As expected, Brown looks like he will wash out of the league at this rate. Can't piss a drop of offence and looks to be doing a whole lotta nothing out there. Great job on the signing Holland.

It honestly feels like another loss incoming, as this team appears to be teetering on the brink of another death spiral losing streak. Come on guys, you are all better than this! Show up with determination and dialed in. Win.
