Fan of Malgin, not sure why we keep experimenting with ZAR and NAK though.

Kind of funny that neither have looked particularly bad with Engvall and Kampf. I mean they will never do much offensively, but at least they were working well defensively again.

If neither look like they will amount to anything, I imagine Joey Anderson will get a shot at some point... Especially if he keeps dominating the AHL. He spent much of preseason in that 4RW role so NAK and ZAR have to worry about Anderson as much as anyone else right now.

Kerfoot premature celebration is even worse in slo-mo.

I can't be the only one who caught Duthie's quip?

Put jarnkrok/Engvall/Simmonds/Kampf.

Keep Malgin in the top 9 on a consistent basis. Same with Robertson.

I never understood why a team that has struggled to put up possession or even good chances would take out one of the guys who has been better in possession and generating good chances than pretty much everyone on this team right now.

Sure, he wasn't scoring... Neither was most of the team.

ZAR reminds me of Nick Shore/Par Lindholm seems to do nothing out there. Good defensively but Is consistently invisible. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I'd rather someone with some jump on the forecheck.

NAK has been getting on my nerves. He seems to struggle to keep up and he does take dumb penalties at times.

And again, I'm eating crow on this but I'd give Anderson a shot as well. Looks like you were right about him, he deserves an opportunity.

I still think

Bunting. Matthews. Marner
Robby. Tavares. Jarnkrok
Engvall. Kerfoot. Nylander
ZAR. Kampf. NAK.

Would work.

Both Anderson and Steeves deserve a look at this point. They can't possibly be more offensively inept than the hyphenated name brothers

Should look good against a shitty team. Took until now pretty much. They've played a few pretty bad ones too.

See if they keep it going. Could they just put up a 7 spot and make it easy and call it a day for a change.
