I am clearly willing to put up with a lot of shit, but today I learned when I snap, I snap back hard. No response from HR yet and now I'm in the waiting room for a PCP appointment to explore FMLA. I've had goddamn enough.
Your mental health is way more important than the constant stream of shit you've been subjected to. Good luck man. I see greats things on the horizon for you.

Thanks dude. I think you'll appreciate that when I jumped in the car to rush to the doctor's appointment, I put my music on shuffle and the first song to come on was "Rearranged". The lyrics in the chorus felt really appropriate.

It’s currently -12 out, feels like -20, it snowed 6 inches last night and were supposed to get another 2-5 inches today. Wind is blowing at 20KMH and gusting up to 42KMH. So yay for that.
We just sent you guys some love from up north. Seriously....we sent it away. It's been quite warm here and it's supposed to get up to 35 here this weekend. To put it in perspective, last year we had more normal weather and the high was around -10 F this time of year.

So, Nate has a new ride and it seems like it will be more reliable, especially in the snow, than the Porsche.

His mom’s BF had a 2004 Honda Pilot that was his winter car. But about a year ago, the battery died and he didn’t try and fix it. So, he wanted to get rid of it. Nate figured it just needed a new alternator.

He fixed it and even though he was 75% sure it would make it, he made the drive yesterday just fine. We followed him just in case.

And we got a preview of the lacrosse locker room with the pinnies all hung from the lockers with care and all the gear sitting at each guy’s spot. All the fundraising is worth it knowing how psyched the guys will be.

On the rough side, it sounds like my ex-MIL was getting moved to hospice yesterday. She has been horrible to me and my wife. But, she is my kids’ grandma and it’s tough on them. And I feel bad for my ex. This stuff is never easy.

Once you've been delivered from Egypt you have to remind yourself there is nothing good back there. Only frogs, and gnats, and a mess.
And the new administrative city they're building is most definitely going to bankrupt this already impoverished nation.
